Easter Season Prayer Services
In times of uncertainty, division, joy, or sorrow, Christians are united whenever we pray together. During the season of Easter, ELCA congregations around the Des Moines Metro are hosting prayer services "Around the Cross" to pray for the healing of the nations, creation, and our communities.
Sharing Space and Serving the Community
The Adel Good Samaritan Food Pantry (GSFP) Backpack Program will operate out of Grace Lutheran Church during the Rapids Street closure and reconstruction project.
Read the Bible with Grace
Starting on January 4, 2026, join us to read through the whole Gospel of Matthew in four weeks. The daily plan includes readings (one chapter per day), themes, prayer, and reflection questions for each day. Use the theme and reflection question as a prompt for journaling, devotions, or discussion.
Giving Tree
Each year as a congregation, Grace members join together to purchase gifts for families in need. Your generosity helps bring comfort and joy to families served by the Crisis Intervention & Advocacy Center.

Fall Stewardship Campaign: "Because of God's Great Mercy"
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness and into his marvelous light.” ~ 1 Peter 2:9
Welcome New Members!
In June and July, we welcomed new members into the life and ministry of this congregation: Dean and Sandy Miller and Todd, Krista, and Ava Matthes. We also rejoice in the gift of baptism for Leo Blum and Ava Matthes. Thanks be to God for these beloved siblings in Christ!
