Children & Families
Ministry with children and families is grounded in the promises we make at baptism. We are a community in Christ, sharing God’s Word, teaching and nurturing faith, so that we learn to trust God and proclaim Christ in word and deed.
Our goal in children’s ministry is to share God’s love in Jesus Christ with children and their families. Through relationships, we help children and their families build and grow their faith, especially at home and outside the walls of our building.

“So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.” ~ Romans 10:17
Giggles & Grace (birth to 5 years with adult caregiver)
Giggles and Grace meets periodically after worship on Sundays for laughter and learning with Bible story time, songs, and activities!
Christian Education (K to 6th grade)
Kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade meet weekly on Wednesdays from 5:40 to 6:25 pm to learn about Jesus and share God’s love. Christian Education at Grace is centered in teaching God’s Word through storytelling and interactive learning. We also weave service projects and other activities into our time together to learn how our faith is part of our everyday life.
Each week, we'll dive into a new Bible story, exploring its lessons through engaging activities, crafts, and interactive games. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn, create, and connect with friends while deepening your faith. We can’t wait to see you in class and embark on this exciting journey together!
Registration is open! Please use this link to register your student for Christian Education for the 2025-2026 school year.
Service Projects and Special Events
We also weave service projects and other activities into our time together to reinforce how our faith is part of our everyday life. We’ve shared God’s love by sewing NICU hearts, painting kindness rocks for parks, decorating Christmas door hangers for Adel Acres, and planting flowers for the Garden of Grace.
“Christian faith is transmitted from generation to generation through personal, trusted relationships that share the stories of the family, the faith, and the Bible.” (Frogs Without Legs, 112)
Creator God, thank you for bringing us together in this place, for breathing your life into us, for the Gospel of unconditional love in and through Jesus Christ. Thank you for your Word of promise that you are always creating, making things new, bringing life. Your Holy Spirit equips the church with a rich variety of gifts. Grant that we may use them to bear witness to Christ, in lives that are built on faith and love. Be among us as we share in conversation about ministry with children and families in this community. Through Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Lord. Amen.
