Children in Worship

Jesus said,

“Let the children

come to me!”

Kids are always welcome in worship and participate fully as they are able!

  • Sing – Children can sing many of the songs and responses.

  • Pray – Even very young children can learn to offer their prayers during worship.

  • Listen & Respond – During storytelling, the pastor will share a story or activity that connects to the readings or theme of the day.

  • Create & Play – Coloring sheets are located in the narthex for kids to engage in during worship, and are regularly updated throughout the year.

  • Communion – Children may receive communion at any age or receive a blessing as their families prefer. First communion classes are offered during the year

Our nursery, located just outside the Sanctuary, is also always available for little ones to wiggle and play during the service. Comfortable chairs, toys and books, changing facilities, and a “toddler-sized” restroom create a welcoming environment for young children. The nursery sound system also allows you to listen to the worship service.
