Wednesday Worship: Evening Prayer & Practices
Join us to worship with Grace on Wednesdays at 6:35 pm (May 14 to June 18)
In John 10:10, Jesus tells his followers, “I came that you might have life, and have it abundantly.”
Living well is a personal journey that presents each of us with unique opportunities to steward all dimensions of our lives.
On Wednesdays at 6:35 pm, starting May 14, you are invited to "Prayer and Practices" as we worship with Holden Evening Prayer and learn about the seven dimensions of well-being. Through the study, "Christ Calls Us to Wholeness," we will consider the ways God has created and blessed us. The Wholeness Wheel reminds us that as baptized believers, every part of our being belongs to God. When we pay attention to all aspects of our humanity — our bodies, our relationships, our money, our minds, our feelings, our work, our faith — we more fully experience that abundant life in Christ and radiate God’s love to others. Topics and Scripture readings for each week includ:
May 14 — Spiritual Well-being (2 Corinthians 5:14-21)
May 21 — Social Well-being (Colossians 3:12-17)
May 28 — Emotional Well-being (John 11:17-37)
June 4 — Physical Well-being (Mark 6:30-32)
June 11 — Financial Well-being (Luke 14:28-33)
June 18 — Vocational Well-being (Ephesians 4:1-16)
June 22 — Intellectual Well-being (Matthew 19:16-26)
**Note change to Sunday at 10:15 am (for Sunday Forum) because of VBS on 6/25
