From the Council President

The Congregation Council held our May meeting recently. Some highlights include:

• We were happy to welcome Carole Schlapkohl to our Council. We still have one more opening to fill and ask you to consider if this is a way that you could offer your talents to our Church.   

• We discussed the current status of our ministry teams and our desire for these teams and committees to be as self-sufficient as possible to free up time for the Council and Pastor to focus on strategic direction. Many teams are already established and led by congregation members, and functioning well. Others are still being formed.   

• Financially we had another good month in April! Income was ahead of expenses and our building fund was positive as well. Rejoice and Thank you for the gifts!

• We have several families and individuals that are planning to join Grace soon. We are always excited to welcome new disciples at Grace. Remember to invite friends and neighbors to Grace when they are searching for a church and community where they can grow with God.
