What stories do you carry? What traditions have been passed down in your family? Where did your family begin and what brought them here?
Join us for an evening of food, storytelling, faith, and community as we gather around the table to explore the stories that have shaped us.
Over a shared meal, we'll reflect on our family histories, the journeys that brought our families here, the people who came before us, and the traditions we continue to carry forward. Two guest speakers will share their own stories of immigration and belonging, inviting us to listen, learn, and reflect on our own stories along the way. Because when we take the time to understand our own stories, we become better able to listen to and understand the stories of others.
Bring a dish. Bring a story. Bring your questions. Bring your curiosity. Most of all, come to the table.
Together, we'll practice what Scripture calls us to do: welcome one another, care for one another, bear one another's burdens, teach one another, and make room for one another.
“Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you.” — Romans 15:7
