The Garden of Grace is a community mission to help feed the hungry in and around the ADM community. Last year we harvested and donated nearly 600 pounds of produce to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry in Adel.
Volunteers of All Ages and Abilities Welcome!
Members of the community are invited to help tend the garden – tilling, planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and transporting produce to feed the hungry.
This is a great mission opportunity for people of all ages to engage personally in hands-on service. It encourages parents and grandparents to serve together with their children, providing a model of service to others.
How to get involved.
Each Wednesday evening between spring planting and the fall harvest, volunteers are needed in the garden to weed, water and perform other gardening needs. We call it Weeding Wednesdays! Come before the 7:00 p.m. church service or stay after.
